Open to all Indigenous students pursing a DVM degree in their first, second or third year of study. To be eligible students must:

• Write a short explanation of how they plan to use their DVM degree to "give back" to their Indigenous community.
• Confirm Indigenous citizenship/membership based upon concurrent university policies. Verification of Indigenous Membership/Citizenship at the University of Saskatchewan is led and determined by the deybwewin | taapwaywin | tapwewin: Indigenous Truth policy. Please visit the PAWS Indigenous Membership/Citizenship Verification channel to proceed through the verification system.

Selection Criteria

Selection is based on merits of the submitted letter, as determined by the Award Committee.
