Open to students who have completed Year Four of the DVM program at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) and who have maintained a focus on nutrition as a cornerstone of veterinary medicine and the 5th vital assessment.

Selection Criteria

Selection by the WCVM awards committee will be based on demonstrated keen knowledge and application of small animal clinical nutrition over the course of their clinical rotations (including the clinical nutrition rotation if applicable). Candidates will be shortlisted by SACS and the names will be provided to the awards committee for final recommendation.
