Eligibility

Open to students enrolled in a 3 or 4-year Bachelor of Arts degree program in the College of Arts and Science. To be eligible, applicants must also be enrolled in, have taken, or intend to take, an honors course in economics, philosophy or psychology and submit a statement expressing their intent to study theology at a bible college or seminary upon graduation, along with a statement describing their involvement in university and community activities, and character.

Selection Criteria

Academic achievement, involvement in university, college and community activities, and character as determined by the awards committee.

Donor The late Judge J.W. Hannon in honour of the memory of his father, the Rev. James Hannon, D.D. who was a minister of the Methodist Church for 48 years.
