This award is presented annually to a first or second year student based on demonstrated leadership involvement in activities internal to the College of Kinesiology and the University of Saskatchewan. This can include activities such as executive membership in the Kinesiology Students’ Society, and/or volunteer activities such as PAAL, peer mentorship and/or a contributing leadership role in other unique initiatives developed by undergraduate students. The nominee will have made a significant impact in a leadership capacity and maintained a minimum of a good standing academic average.
Apply
College of Kinesiology faculty, staff and/or students can put forward nominations. The College of Kinesiology Awards Committee will adjudicate all nominations and forward a recommendation to the Dean. The name of the selected student meeting the academic average requirement and a brief biography and reasons for nomination will be provided to CCUPEKA in the fall of each year. The award will be presented at the annual College of Kinesiology Awards Day each November.
