Open to students in their second or third year at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. To be eligible, applicants must submit a one page essay that details how they have ensured self-care for themselves and their fellow veterinary students during their studies and outlines how they plan to promote and encourage wellness.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based upon the merits of the submitted essay, as determined by the Award Committee. The Award Committee will be encouraged to solicit input from informed resources such as the college social worker.
