Open to undergraduate students in their 2nd or 3rd year of the DVM program at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. To be eligible, applicants must:

• Have attended a high school in Saskatchewan, with a strong preference given to students from southern Saskatchewan (using any community in line with or south of Davidson as the geographical boundary)
• Have self-declared interest in small animal medicine, or are a member of the Small Animal Club
• Submit a statement on why they intend to practice in Saskatchewan and that they have an interest in small animal medicine, and, if applicable, how they are in alignment with Careport's values of being caring and respectful, having a positive attitude and being a team player.

Selection Criteria

Based on the merits of the submitted statement.
