International Onshore Merit Scholarship
The University of Queensland
(1) Scholarship means a scholarship for high-achieving students for commencement in Semesters 1 and 2, 2023. (2) International Student means a student who is not an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident. (3) Relevant program means any undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program of at least 16 units at The University of Queensland with the exception of Bachelor of Dental Science (Hons), Doctor of Clinical Dentistry, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons), Master of Dietetics Studies, Master of Conservation Biology, Master of Conservation Science, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) or Bachelor of Science (Hons) with Psychology major, Doctor of Psychology, Master of Clinical Psychology, Master of Organisational Psychology, Master of Psychology, Master of Business Psychology, Master of Counselling, Master of Physiotherapy, Master of Physiotherapy Studies, Master of Audiology Studies, Master of Occupational Therapy Studies, Master of Speech Pathology Studies, Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine (Ochsner), Doctor of Medicine (Provisional), Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons), Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, Master of Biostatistics, Graduate Diploma in Biostatistics, and Graduate Certificate in Biostatistics.
You're eligible if you:
- are an international student
- have completed your most recent qualification in Australia
- have achieved a competitive score as determined by the University when ranked among the pool of offer holders for programs in their commencement semester.
And you:
- have received an offer to study full-time at UQ commencing Semester 1 or 2, 2023 in an Approved Program. This includes most undergraduate and postgraduate programs with a few exceptions. Check the rules (PDF, 114.04 KB) to see if your program is approved.
- have satisfied the program entry and English language proficiency requirements
- will enrol full-time.
And you have not received:
- another scholarship from UQ
- a full scholarship or sponsorship from another organisation (applicants with partial scholarships or sponsorships may be considered).
