Banner only UQ PhD Industry Placement Award

If you meet the criteria of the UQ PhD Industry Placement Award you will be provided with the award payment upon successful completion of the placement. You will also be considered for a tuition extension and thesis submission date extension up to a maximum of 3.75 years Full Time Equivalent at that time.

You're eligible if you:

• are a UQ PhD candidate (full time or part time)
• are on a living stipend managed by a sponsor external to UQ*, or not in receipt of any living stipend scholarship
• have successfully completed a Graduate School coordinated PhD Industry Placement of at least 60 working days
• worked with the Graduate School to plan and record the HDR Placement within the first 18 months of candidature.

*4-year funded stipends are not eligible, such as industry funded.
