Overview
Melbourne Overseas Internship Grants, provided by the Victorian Government through the Study Melbourne International Education Resilience Fund, are available to students undertaking an internship in their country of citizenship as part of an existing University work-integrated learning program. Students who hold citizenship in China, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam are eligible to apply provided they are enrolled with a participating faculty.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- be enrolled at the University of Melbourne in either an undergraduate degree or a graduate coursework degree with a participating faculty (i.e. Arts, Science, Architecture, Building & Planning, or Engineering and IT)
- be a citizen of China, India, Malaysia, Singapore or Vietnam
- be enrolled in a work integrated learning subject as part of your degree in Winter 2022, Semester 2, 2022, Summer 2023 or Semester 1 2023 and undertaking the internship in your country of citizenship (you must upload a faculty approval letter or email as part of your grant application)
- Internships must commence prior to June 2023 to be eligible for grant funding
- have not received a previous Melbourne Overseas Internship Grant Selection criteria Grants will be awarded in the order applications are received.
