MacBain Research Scholarships in Biology

This scholarship is awarded to a enrolled Doctor of Philosophy Science student who is studying biology with special reference to Australian forms of life.

What are the benefits?

A single payment of up to $1100.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• Be enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy Science in the School of Bioscience, and
• Be undertaking research in the discipline of Biology with special reference to Australian forms of life.

Selection criteria:

Eligible candidates will be ranked based on:

• Academic merit,
• Research excellence.

The award is alternated each year between Botany, Zoology and Genetics.

2022 awarding belongs to the research area of Botany.
