This scholarship supports Indigenous Australian students in the Master of Teaching or undertaking research in Indigenous Education, with up to $6,000 per year over the two-year duration of the course.
What are the benefits?
A living subsidy of approximately $6,000 per year for the two-year duration of the Master of Teaching or for up to two years of your research degree, based on full-time enrollment.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
*The status of Indigenous Australians must be confirmed by Murrup Barak, Melbourne Institute for Indigenous Development.
Selection criteria:
- eligible applicants will be assessed on academic merit and responses to the application questions
- preference will be given to students in the Master of Teaching (see eligibility above)
- financial need will be taken into consideration
