John Lovering Prize

This scholarship is awarded to a Bachelor of Science (Honours) or Master of Science (Earth Sciences) student who is studying the discipline of Earth Science, on the basis of academic merit.

What are the benefits?

The scholarship is paid as a one-off payment of $1,000.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• Complete the Master of Science (Earth Sciences) or the Bachelor of Science (Honours) within the School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, with a specific focus on Earth Sciences.

Selection criteria:

Eligible candidates will be ranked based on:

• Academic merit, based on the highest weighted average mark (WAM) in the Honours or Masters program. In the event of a tie, the prize will be split.
