Fritz Janeba Travelling Scholarship
THE UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE
This scholarship will support Master of Architecture alumni and alumni who are current graduate research students in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning to pursue studies in design for up to 12 months at overseas universities or other overseas academic institutes.
What are the benefits?
The scholarship offers a one-off payment of approximately $20,000. The amount may increase or decrease depending on proposed budget and duration of studies.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
be a graduate of the Master of Architecture (or its successor) from the University of Melbourne OR
be a graduate of the Master of Architecture from the University of Melbourne and are currently undertaking a course for a higher degree (MPhil or PhD) in the faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning
In addition, you must either
- be considering pursuing or
- have received an offer to undertake
graduate level studies in the field of Design.
Selection criteria:
Eligible applicants are assessed on performance at interview and the rigour of their online application which will include, but is not limited to:
- an Expression of Interest highlighting their innovative ideas in approach to Architecture
- proposed study destination
- proposed travel budget
- academic or professional reference(s)
