This prize recognises research excellence in the Master of Education. The Freda Cohen Prize was established by Brigadier Harold Edward Cohen, who presented the University with funds in the 1930s, in honour of his wife, Freda.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- be graduating from the Master of Education with the research pathway
Selection criteria:
This prize is awarded to the student who submits the most meritorious thesis for assessment for the degree of Master of Education during the preceding year within the research stream.
