Destination Australia General Studies Scholarship

The Destination Australia General Studies Scholarship is offered to attract and support domestic students to study in regional Australia.

What are the benefits?

These scholarships provide students in the Diploma in General Studies course with the opportunity to experience exceptional learning in a regional area of Australia.

An allowance of $15,000* per year (paid in half-yearly installments) will be provided to recipients to assist with study costs.

*up to $22,500 for students entering the extended program

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• be an Australian citizen or Australian Permanent Resident or holder of a permanent Humanitarian Visa; and
• meet the criteria for entry to the Diploma in General Studies; and
• enrol full-time in your course; and
• reside in a regional area (Dookie Campus) for the duration of the course

Selection criteria:

Selection is based on Academic merit.

Preference will be given to:

• applicants who are Indigenous Australian or Torres Strait Islander;
• applicants from a disadvantaged financial background and a rural background;
• applicants from a disadvantaged financial background;
• applicants from a rural background.
