Overview
This scholarship is awarded to a recently enrolled Doctor of Philosophy Science School of Chemistry student, who in the previous year completed research in a branch of study related to Chemistry, as part of a Bachelor of Science (Honours), Post Graduate Diploma in Science (Chemistry), Master of Science (Chemistry) or Master of Philosophy Science (Chemistry).

A single payment of up to $2,000.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a confirmed School of Chemistry Doctor of Philosophy Science candidate, and
- Have completed a substantial research project in a branch of study related to Chemistry, in the previous year of any one of the below University of Melbourne programs:
- Bachelor of Science (Honours), or
- Post Graduate Diploma in Science (Chemistry), or
- Master of Science (Chemistry); or
- Master of Philosophy Science (Chemistry).
Important:
This award cannot be held concurrently with the Dixson Research Scholarship or the Professor Kernot Research Scholarship in Chemistry.
Selection criteria:
Selection is made on the basis of
- Academic merit,
- Demonstrated research ability.
