Overview
This scholarship, for Indian students, pays the full tuition fee for the one-year, full-time, Masters-level course from within the various specialist legal areas of the Melbourne Law Masters program at Melbourne Law School, as well as providing a two equal payments of AUD$10,000 (totalling AUD$20,000). The recipient may also have the opportunity to undertake paid research at $40 per hour, up to $10,000 in total. Recipients will also receive mentoring by former Judge of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria and Governor of Victoria, the Honourable Alex Chernov.
What are the benefits?

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- be an international student from India, and
- have applied for, and been offered a place in a Masters-level course from within the various specialist legal areas of the Melbourne Law Masters program at Melbourne Law School:
- if commencing in the start-year intake (March), your application for your chosen course must be submitted by 31 October the year prior.
- if commencing in the mid-year intake (July), your application for your chosen course must be submitted by 30 April of the same year.
Selection criteria:
Selection for this scholarship is based on academic merit.
