General announcement for humanities

Scholarships can be awarded to doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers. In the latter category, applicants who received a Ph.D. in the past five years are prioritised. Scholarships above SEK 50,000 will only be granted in exceptional cases. In previous years, young researchers, travel to conferences or archives and field trips have been prioritised. Funding for salaries or leave of absence to prolong the doctoral period is usually not granted. OH (Overhead/Administration costs) will not be accepted. Scholarships are awarded for a maximum period of one year.

Scholarships are not granted for purposes that have been completed by the time the decision is made, which takes about three months after the end of the application period.

Provide the name of the head of the institute/faculty, and support your application by appending documents such as invitations, a letter from your supervisor and/or letters of recommendation. Doctoral students must state their supervisor’s name. Upload all documents in PDF format.
