Overview

The Joshua Edward and Jeremy David Ebinger Memorial Scholarship was established in 2002 (and amended in 2021) as an endowment fund in the Ripley County Community Foundation, Inc. David and Lisa Ebinger, their parents, created the scholarship in memory of Joshua and Jeremy. Applicants must be a graduating senior at South Ripley High School or Jac-Cen-Del High School planning to further his/her education in Diesel Mechanics; second priority as a member of the South Ripley or Jac-Cen-Del High School FFA program seeking higher education; or, third priority as a member of 4-H seeking higher education.

Eligibility
  • Recipients are eligible only one time. The student shall be selected using the following prioritized preferences

(1) Plan to study in the field of diesel mechanics. (2) Be or have been a FFA member at South Ripley High School or Jac-Cen-Del High School and seeking higher education in any field. (3) Be or have been a 4-H member at South Ripley High School or Jac-Cen-Del High School and seeking higher education in any field.

  • Be a graduating senior from South Ripley High School or Jac-Cen-Del High School; AND
  • Complete the Ripley County Community Foundation Scholarship Application; AND
  • Provide a written personal recommendation from a teacher, coach, pastor, or employer.
