James E. and Ruth M. Wagner Memorial Scholarship

Residents of Osgood and the surrounding area are aware of the good Mr. Wagner did for their community. Much of this good was done anonymously through the Ripley County Community Foundation. Though he appeared “gruff” on the outside, he was a very good and very generous man who loved his family, church, and community. When Mr. Wagner passed away, a scholarship was endowed to benefit students of Jac-Cen-Del High School

who want to pursue a career in nursing or business.

• Be a graduate of Jac-Cen-Del High School; AND
• Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale; AND
• Be planning on pursuing an associate or bachelor degree at an accredited college or university majoring in
• Nursing (first choice); or
• Business (second choice); AND
