Hillrom Scholarship
The Ripley County Community Foundation
Hillrom Holdings, Inc. established the Hillrom Scholarship in 2021 as a token of the company's appreciation for the dedication and innovation of their Southeast Indiana employees. This opportunity shall provide educational scholarships for students who are accepted into and attend accredited two- and four-year public or private institutions of higher learning. Preference shall be given to students pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Liberal Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Children of staff members of the Ripley County Community Foundation, and children of the scholarship selection committee are not eligible to apply.
Eligible applicants are those who meet the following qualifications:
- Must be a graduating senior from Batesville High School, East Central High School, Franklin County High School, Greensburg High School, Jac-Cen-Del High School, Milan High School, North Decatur High School, Oldenburg Academy, South Decatur High School, or South Ripley High School; and,
- Are the child/step-child or grandchild of a former or current employee of Hillrom Holdings, Inc. in Batesville, Indiana; and,
- Execute a Verification Form provided by the Ripley County Community Foundation that establishes the student's connection to Hillrom Holdings, Inc. and that the connection was an employee in good standing; and,
- Complete the Ripley County Community Foundation application and all attachments thereto.
