George and Patricia Brinkmoeller Scholarship

The Brinkmoellers have supported the Ripley County Community Foundation from its inception in 1997. George was a member of the Founding Board and later served as the Board President. In 1997, the couple started a fund to support the Batesville Food Pantry. This scholarship was started by them in 2007 to help further the education of Batesville High School and Oldenburg Academy graduates.

• Be a graduate of Batesville High School-Batesville, Indiana; or
• Be a graduate of Oldenburg Academy-Oldenburg, Indiana; AND
• Plan on majoring in education; AND
• Have a GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale; AND
• Plan to attend an accredited four year Indiana college or university; AND
• Recipients of this scholarship are only eligible one time unless there are no other applicants in a given year.
