Institute of Management Accountants IMA® Graduate Scholarship
The Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting
IMA is funding one one-year graduate scholarship in the amount of $1,500 for a woman who is working toward an advanced degree in accounting. The scholarship recipient must be enrolled in an accredited school in the United States. In addition to the cash award, the recipient will receive a complimentary one-year student membership to the IMA (a $39 value), the CMA exam entrance fee (a $250 value), as well as the exam registration fee (valued at $415 per part). The CMA exam entrance and registration fee has a two-year time limit and is non-transferrable.
EFWA Graduate Scholarship – EFWA is funding one one-year graduate scholarship in the amount of $1,500 for a woman who is working towards an advanced degree while attending an accredited school in the United States.
Selection Criteria
- Female U.S. citizens attending accredited schools in the United States.
- Commitment to the goal of pursuing an advanced degree in accounting in preparation for a career as an accounting or finance professional, including evidence of continued commitment to this goal after receiving the award.
- Demonstrated aptitude in accounting and business as evidenced by prior course work and/or work experience.
- Clear evidence that goals and a plan for achieving those goals, both personal and professional, have been established.
- Financial need
- Scholarship recipients will be selected by May 31.
