Overview
Each year the Australian National University offers the National Indigenous University Scholarship with the aim of acknowledging the academic excellence of Indigenous students in secondary school studies and provide assistance with costs related to tertiary studies.
Eligibility
The Award is available each year to a commencing ANU student who:
- is a domestic student; and
- identifies and is accepted as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; and
- receives an offer of admission to an undergraduate degree program at the University; and
- has completed their Year 12 or equivalent qualification within the last two years and achieved an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or ANU Selection rank of 95.0 or above (no adjustment factors); and
- has not enrolled in any undergraduate degree program previous to commencing at the University.
