Bassett Downs Honours Scholarship in Zoology

The Bassett Downs Endowment will provide funds for the Bassett Downs Scholarship for Zoology to support a research project based on field or lab-based work on native species in the fields of systematics, conservation biology, behavioural and community ecology. Scholarships will be awarded every second year (next available in 2018).

Selection basis:

the applicant's academic record; and the applicant's high level of competence in wildlife, conservation ecology and/or animal behaviour as demonstrated through their work

The Scholarship shall be awarded to an applicant who:

• has an exceptionally high level of competence in systematics, conservation biology, and/or behavioural and community ecology; and
• is eligible to enrol into the honours Year of an undergraduate program offered by the Research School of Biology
