Scholarship eligibility criteria To be eligible for a Kellas Midstream Undergraduate BEng Clean Energy Scholarship you must:

Key information

  • Eligible UCAS applicants will be invited to apply for a scholarship shortly after you receive a conditional or unconditional offer for Year 1 entry on the three-year full-time degree, BEng (Hons) Energy Engineering

  • Scholarship disbursement: you receive three equal instalments of £3,000 in each academic year (totalling £27,000 over three years). There are normally paid at the end of October, January and April to your nominated UK bank account.

  • You shouldn't rely on scholarship payments to pay your course fees as course fee due dates may be earlier than when you receive your scholarship payments

  • The University reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship and stop further scholarship payments if you withdraw from your course, suspend studies, transfer to an ineligible course or to another institution. Payments may also be suspended or the scholarship permanently withdrawn if you don’t remain fully committed and engaged with your learning, or if you fail to successfully progress to the next level of your course. You are required to maintain an excellent record of attendance, to complete all course assignments and assessments, and pay course fees when they are due.

  • After you have successfully completed your BEng degree, you can apply for a further £12,000 to study an eligible postgraduate MSc course.
