Overview
College: Halmos College of Arts and Sciences
Background: This scholarship was established in 2005 to honor colleagues who are committed to giving back to the community. It is awarded to the CAHSS graduate student whose community service is exemplary of and committed to NSU’s vision and the CAHSS motto of “walking the talk”. Outreach programs must incorporate theory and practice of CAHSS academic ideals/philosophies, adds to the quality of life, locally, nationally, or internationally.
Award Amount: Varies
Deadline: July 1st
Requirements:
- Community service is exemplary of and committed to NSU’s vision and the HCAS motto of “walking the talk”
- Good academic standing
- Completed at least 9 credits in an Halmos College of Arts and Sciences program
- Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in a term
