Forensics Tuition Program for Returning Students

Award to provide support to academically talented undergraduate students participating in NIU Forensics, which is a student organization devoted to competitive and non-competitive speech activities. NIU Forensics provides students with training in argumentation, advocacy, public speaking and performance. New, incoming freshman and transfer students must provide a letter of recommendation.

• For current NIU students only: Please provide a personal statement describing your commitment to NIU Forensics during the most recent academic term. List any positions held, competitive awards received, or non-competitive accomplishments related to your participation (i.e. recruitment efforts, public relations activities, public debate planning, or other promotional activities).
• Letter of Recommendation Request: Please request a letter of recommendation from someone who can speak about your academic achievements, talent, service, or involvement.
