Judge Bhatia Citizenship Award

NOTE: This is a nominated award. Successful recipients of this award will be notified by the NorQuest College Awards office after the Winter term has ended.

Awarded to a full-time student in the NorQuest College Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program.

Eligibility Criteria;

• A newcomer to Canada*. • Academic achievement. • Demonstration of leadership, displaying all the attributes of a good Canadian Citizen, helpful to classmates, courteous, and hard working.

*Newcomers to Canada who have established residential ties with Canada may be: Persons in need of protection; People who have applied for or received permanent resident status from Citizenship & Immigration Canada; or; People who have received a “approval-in-principle” from Citizenship & Immigration Canada to stay in Canada.
