Banksia Association Honours Scholarship

The Banksia Association is a group of individuals who have made an impact on Murdoch University during its 38 year history. Banksia Association members include past members of the University Senate, individuals who have been awarded Honorary Degrees, Emeritus Professors and others who are passionate about Murdoch University and Higher Education.

The Banksia Association Honours Scholarship was established in 2008 to encourage our highest achieving students to continue their education at Murdoch University by providing them with financial assistance during their Honours year.

To apply for this scholarship you must:

• be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• be currently enrolled, or intending to enrol, in an honours course full-time at Murdoch University in either Semester 1 or Semester 2, 2021
• have a record of high achievement in previous studies and/or professional work, whether or not related to the proposed field of study in your honours course
• be experiencing challenges in undertaking the honours project that could be usefully offset by the assistance of a Banksia scholarship
• be available to attend an awards ceremony held by the Banksia Association. Please note that while this is a merit-based scholarship, personal and financial hardship may still be considered by the panel.
