Overview
It is proposed that the donor supported Gama-gii Indigenous Masters Scholarship be established to encourage and support Indigenous Australian students to pursue postgraduate studies in the field of architecture.
Benefits
- $10,000 per annum for up to two years.
Number offered
- One scholarship available at any one time.
Selection criteria
- Awarded based on academic achievement and need.
To retain this scholarship:
- You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 each semester.
Eligibility
You must be one of the following:
- An Indigenous Australian
You must meet the following criteria:
- Commencing or current student, enrolled in or intending to enrol in the Master of Architecture degree in the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture at a Monash campus in Australia.
- From one or more of Monash University's defined educational disadvantage categories.
- Demonstrating leadership and community engagement or participating in industry engagement opportunities.
- To be eligible you must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute.
