Overview

The Faculty of Education is offering the Aunty Diane Singh Indigenous Scholarship for Indigenous students wanting to study a Master of Teaching. This scholarship honours the significant contributions Aunty Di, a Yorta-Yorta Wemba-Wemba Elder has made to Indigenous education. She is the current Elder in Residence at Monash University.

You must meet the following criteria:

  • Commencing student intending to enrol in the Master of Teaching degree in the Faculty of Education at a Monash campus in Australia.
  • You must have accepted your course offer and be enrolled in a full-time load.

Benefits

  • $3,985 paid towards tuition fees per annum for up to two years.
  • $20,000 paid in cash per annum for up to two years.

Selection criteria

Based on academic achievement

To retain this scholarship:

  • You must maintain full-time enrolment.
  • You must maintain academic performance as approved by the Faculty of Education throughout the course.
