Overview
Overview
To recognize their positive contributions to their campus community and community at large, the Black Student Success Centre (BSSC) is offering a one time award (to be awarded during the Black Graduation Celebration) to a Black male identifying undergraduate or graduate student who is graduating in May 2023. The successful candidate is well respected for their authenticity and leadership modelled by uplifting others.
Award Available: 1 x $1000
For the purpose of Aid and Award criteria and eligibility, references to "Woman" or "Female" include all/any students who identify as Woman/Female and references to "Man" or "Male" include all students who identify as a Man/Male.
Eligibility
Qualifications
- Applicant must be an Undergraduate or Graduate Student.
- Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
- Applicant must be graduating this Spring.
- Applicant must be a Full Time student.
- Applicant must be enrolled.
- Applicant self-identify as Black (including African, African-Canadian, African-American, Afro-Caribbean/West Indian)
- Applicant must self-identify as a member of a racialized group.
- Applicant must be pursuing a Bachelors, Co-op, Honours Co-op, Honours, Masters, or PHD.
