Overview
To recognize transformative advocacy efforts and changemaker potential, the Black Student Success Centre (BSSC) is offering a one-time award (to be awarded during the Black Graduation Celebration) to a Black identifying undergraduate or graduate student who has been a catalyst for positive change. The successful candidate is well respected for their leadership capabilities and commitment to making a powerful difference in their campus, community and world at large. Award Available: 1 x $1000
Eligibility
Qualifications
- Applicant must be an Undergraduate or Graduate Student.
- This award is not second degree eligible.
- Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
- Applicant must be graduating this Spring.
- Applicant must be a Full Time student.
- Applicant must be enrolled.
- Applicant must identify as a member of a racialized group.
- Applicant self-identify as Black (including African, African-Canadian, African-American, Afro-Caribbean/West Indian)
- Applicant must be pursuing a Bachelors, Co-op, Honours Co-op, Honours, Masters, or PHD.
