Overview
The purpose of the postgraduate scholarship is to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding women who undertake post-graduate study or research. Graduate Women New Zealand believe in empowering women through education, advocacy and community.
What you'll be studying:
This is a postgraduate scholarship. You will be enrolling in a master's degree or in the final year of a postgraduate honour's degree at Massey University.
Eligibility
- be female
- be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- be willing to have your name and details published on the Graduate Women Manawatu Charitable Trust's website, should you - be successful.
Application checklist:
Include the following with your application:
- a personal profile of 500 words or less in which you state your research and career goals and how your research will benefit New Zealand
- curriculum vitae (maximum of three pages) including where relevant a list of your recent publications and /or outputs, most recent first
- financial summary outlining your expected study or research related costs plus any scholarships or funding you are in receipt of
- a copy of your academic transcripts for any tertiary study completed outside of Massey University (if applicable)
- photo identification

When choosing our recipients we will consider your academic achievements, your financial situation and you personal profile.
