Macquarie University Higher Study Scholarship - Part time rate

About the scholarship:

The Macquarie University Higher Study Scholarship provides you with the financial support to study an undergraduate course at Macquarie University.

Duration:

The normal duration of the current honours year or postgraduate course.

In addition to academic excellence and financial hardship, consideration is given to factors including an Indigenous background, capacity to triumph over hardship, carer responsibilities, rural or remote background, non English-speaking background, long term disability or medical condition, or ongoing effects of trauma and abuse. | The successful applicant for this scholarship must be:

• An Australian citizen or Permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen
• Studying or intending to study full-time or part time at the Honours or postgraduate coursework level in a Commonwealth - Supported place or tuition fee place. (Note that students undertaking Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma study are not eligible for this scholarship.)
• Able to demonstrate financial hardship; applicants need to be in receipt of Youth Allowance or any other means tested Commonwealth support payment.
