Provides assistance to exceptional applicants of Māori descent who are undertaking tertiary study and who possess characteristics that are consistent with members of the 28th Māori Battalion.

Special Selection Criteria

Applicants must be enrolling in tertiary study (Certificate and Diplomas, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, Doctoral Degree).

Applicants must describe Ngā Ahuatanga (characteristics) they possess that are similar to those of the 28th (Māori) Battalion soldiers.
