New Zealand Fruitgrowers' Charitable Trust Horticulture Scholarship

Purpose
The NZ Fruitgrowers’ Charitable Trust Horticulture Scholarship was established in 2020 to support a student who is entering a Diploma in Horticulture or a Diploma in Horticultural Management at Lincoln University.
Number/Value
One scholarship will be offered annually to a full time student studying at Lincoln University. The annual value of the scholarship shall be a maximum of $5,000 towards tuition fees or living expenses. $2,500 will be paid out in Semester 1, the second $2,500 will be paid out on condition all Semester 1 courses are passed.
Selection Criteria
The criteria for selection will be
a. Academic Merit b. Evidence of and/or planned activity to support the New Zealand fruit growing industry.
Eligibility
a. Applicants must be full time students registered in a Diploma in Horticulture or a Diploma in Horticultural Management. b. Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents
Tenure
a. The scholarship is tenable for ONE year. b. The scholarship is tenable with any other scholarship, award or bursary whose regulations allow co-tenure
