The Māori Education Trust was set up to encourage Māori into tertiary education and this was achieved through the payment of grants and scholarships.

Ti Maru Maori Trust Scholarship

Available to Maori undergraduates studying at a recognised NZ tertiary institute. Priority given to academic merit. The award is valued at $5,000.

Ti Maru Maori Trust Prestigious Scholarship

Available to Maori Graduates with a record of academic excellence and the proven ability to complete postgraduate studies in either New Zealand or overseas.
