Maniototo Lions Agricultural Scholarship

Maniototo Lions offer a scholarship for aspiring young agricultural students to assist with their study to help them gain entry into the sheep and beef industry or similar in the agricultural sector.

The scholarship is open to students enrolled in:

• Diploma in Agriculture

• Diploma in Farm Management

• Bachelor of Agriculture

• Bachelor of Agricultural Science

• Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture)

• Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture and professional accounting)

• Bachelor of Agribusiness and Food Marketing

Selection Criteria

• Applicants must be enrolled in one of the above courses.
• The successful applicant will demonstrate some academic merit, a real commitment to their current studies and be strongly motivated and passionate about working in the sheep and beef industry or a similar field in the agriculture sector in the future.

Availability

Must be a New Zealand citizen and from within the ‘wider’ Maniototo area
