LU Research Masters Scholarship

- Purpose
Lincoln University Research Masters Scholarships are awarded for the purpose of encouraging postgraduate study and research at Lincoln University.
- Number
The number of scholarships to be awarded in any year shall be determined by the ViceChancellor.
(1) Scholarships will be open to full-time students eligible to register for a research year of a Master’s degree at Lincoln University at the commencement of the Semester immediately following the award. (2) The scholarship will lapse if the candidate is not registered for the required postgraduate qualification by the date established in 3(1) above or those established under special provision. (3) Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents
Selection Criteria
The scholarship will be awarded based on the following criteria: (1) Academic Merit (2) Research proposal
Tenure
(1) The scholarship is tenable for a maximum period of one year of research study. (2) The scholarship will commence at the start of the Semester immediately following the award. (3) The scholarship is tenable with any other scholarship, bursary or award, providing the regulations of that scholarship, bursary or award allow co-tenure.
