Purpose
The Lincoln University TeenAg Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to students who wish to undertake studies at Lincoln University and who plan to make a career in a land-based Industry
Number/Value
Two scholarships may be offered annually to a student intending on studying at Lincoln University. The value of the scholarship is $4,000 towards tuition fees or on-campus accommodation.
Eligibility
a. Applicants must have been a competitor in the FMG Junior Young Farmer of the Year competition in the year immediately prior to commencing study, or in the year that they commence study. b. Applicants must be planning on entering their first year of study at Lincoln University.
Selection Criteria
The criteria for selection will be: a. Involvement in FMG Junior Young Farmer of the Year competition b. Involvement with TeenAG Club c. Academic Merit d. Future career plans
Tenure
a. The scholarship is tenable for one year. b. The scholarship is not tenable with any other Lincoln University funded scholarship, award or bursary. c. Applicants will be expected to help with a NZYF nominated regional final during the tenure of their scholarship
