Lincoln University Alumni Association Diploma Scholarship

- Purpose
The Lincoln University Alumni Association Diploma Scholarship was established to support a student who is about to enter the Diploma in Farm Management at Lincoln University.
- Number/Value
One scholarship will be offered annually to a full time student studying at Lincoln University. The annual value of the scholarship shall be up to $5000 towards tuition fees or living expenses.
Eligibility
(a) Applicant must be a full time student undertaking the Diploma in Farm Management. (b) Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents.
Selection Committee
The scholarship shall be awarded by representatives of the Lincoln University Alumni Association Executive and a nominee from Lincoln University’s Alumni and Development Office. The Executive may request the applicant attend an interview in person or by video call as part of the selection process. The Executive may refrain from making an award if it finds no candidate adequately meets the selection criteria.
Tenure
(a) The scholarship is tenable for one year. (b) The successful candidate agrees to assist with the compilation of a personal profile, with photo, for use in Alumni Association publications. (c) The successful candidate may be required to attend an Alumni Association event to promote the Scholarship or Alumni Association at the request of the Association.
