Overview
Miss Grace Gane provided funds, in memory of her grandfather James Gane and mother Evelyn Edith Gane, to offer scholarships for students who intend to take up farming, horticulture or similar.
Special Selection Criteria:
For students from a rural background wanting to study agriculture, horticulture or similar.
Must be about to enrol in their first year of study at Lincoln University
Eligibility
- Applicants must be about to enrol in their first year of an undergraduate degree or diploma at Lincoln University and have gained a University Entrance qualification in New Zealand or an international equivalent within two (2) years of applying.
- Applicants must be from a rural background and intend to study a degree or diploma that will allow them to take up farming, horticulture or similar as a career.
- The applicants must be over the age of 16 at the date of awarding the scholarship and must have lived continuously in New Zealand for at least three (3) consecutive years.
