Fulbright NZ General Graduate Awards

The Fulbright NZ General Graduate Awards, are for promising graduate students in any field to complete a post-graduate degree at an American University.

Value

Approximately eight awards are granted annually, valued at up to US$40,000 (plus NZ$4,000 travel funding) for up to one year of study or research in the US.

Students undertaking multi-year Masters or PhD degrees have the opportunity to apply for additional funding of up to US$30,000 towards their second year of study.

Closing Date 1 October

Special Selection Criteria

Must have at least a four year degree.

Study in the USA must be for at least 6 months.

NZ Citizen living in any country except the USA.
