Dick and Mary Earle Scholarship in Technology

Dick and Mary Earle have established this scholarship for individuals to undertake postgraduate research in one or both of the two fields: innovation and product development, or bioprocess technology.

Value Up to $17,000 per annum at Masters level and $25,000 per annum at PhD level. Normally one Masters and one Doctoral scholarship will be awarded each year.

Selection Criteria

In assessing applications the Selection Committee will use the following criteria:

• Practical relevance of the proposed study to New Zealand industry with regard to product development and innovation in, but not limited to, the food and bioprocessing industries.
• Backing for the project.
• Capability of the candidate to deliver by successfully completing the project within the allocated timetable.
• Academic record.

New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents who have resided in New Zealand for at least 3 years
