Judge William Garbose Memorial Scholarship

For graduating seniors from Worcester County who are pursuing a career in criminal justice, with preference to residents of Athol, Royalston, Petersham, Phillipston, and Templeton.

Type of Student (High School or College) Only graduating high school seniors are eligible for this scholarship.

Required Residence Any city or town in Worcester County (located in central MA)

Required High School None

Required Field of Study in College Criminal justice, criminology, law enforcement, forensic science, or other fields relating to criminal justice

Other Requirements or Preference Preference to residents of Athol, Royalston, Petersham, Phillipston, and Templeton

Non-Renewable / Renewable

Potentially renewable for subsequent years of college

Availability

This scholarship is awarded approximately every four years (it is not awarded to a new student if it is a renewal year for the current recipient)
