Matthew Siebenmorgen Memorial Scholarship

Vision:
The Matthew J. Siebenmorgen Memorial Scholarship is intended for an outstanding Fayetteville High School senior who will be attending a college or university upon graduation and will not likely receive other major scholarship awards. The scholarship is intended to commemorate the ideals and life of Matthew, who was an outstanding student academically, was in excellent standing among his teachers, and was dedicated to family, church, and civic activities. He had a tremendous work ethic, particularly in home, community and church activities.
Available Funds:
• The Fayetteville Public Education Foundation may or may not award a scholarship in any given year • Funding from $500 up to $2000 • Matthew J. Siebenmorgen Memorial Scholarship may award multiple recipients
Use of Award:
• Scholarship funds may be used to pay for student educational costs, including tuition, fees, books • Scholarship funds are payable with proof of college enrollment. The Fayetteville Public Education Foundation will issue payment to that institution once enrollment is confirmed
Eligible Applicants:
• Deserving Fayetteville High School student • Two letters of recommendation, one of which must be a high school teacher or youth leader • Demonstrated community involvement and student leadership • Brief personal narrative that demonstrates how your life represents the vision of the Matthew J. Siebenmorgen Memorial Scholarship
