The Anthea Jane Wilson Scholarship Endowment is a lasting legacy to support the aspirations of students who embody Anthea’s passion for best practice emergency care nursing. As a lasting legacy of Anthea Jane Wilson’s passion for nursing and particularly emergency nursing, Anthea’s parents have established a scholarship in her name at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Deakin University. The Anthea Jane Wilson Scholarship is to be awarded to a nursing student (Master of Advanced Nursing) who shares a passion for emergency care nursing, and is facing hardship.
Benefits
This scholarship offers tuition fee contribution payments for the normal full-time duration of the course, and may also provide a cash payment.
Prospective candidates should ensure they meet all criteria before submitting their application.
To be eligible you must be:
- a domestic student
- a commencing student enrolled full time in the Master of Advanced Nursing in Trimester 1 2023
Preference will be given to a student with an interest in emergency care nursing, or to a student who is experiencing financial hardship.
Conditions
As a scholarship recipient you must:
- write an introduction statement about your goals for study and what it means to receive the scholarship
- provide a completion statement at the conclusion of your studies
- be open to participating in donor engagement activities
- not concurrently hold another scholarship
