Description/Applicant information Based in the School of Elec Eng, Comp and Math Sci (EECMS) at Curtin University is an exciting opportunity for a Masters by Research Scholarship in a strong team working to support the fast growth of New Technologies.
You will carry out research and experimental work in the fields of sensor networks, biomedical engineering and machine learning with focus on:
- Utilisation of Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) in human movement including data collection and storage.
- Classification of events utilising machine learning

Value This scholarship provides a living stipend of $28,597 p.a. pro rata indexed, based on full-time studies, for up to a maximum of 2 years.

Eligible courses
Any student wishing to enrol in a Masters by Research in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (Master of Philosophy).
Eligibility criteria
- Australian citizen
- Full-time enrolment
- Have a tertiary qualification in electrical, electronic or mechatronic engineering or computer science
- Have experience in Applied Machine Learning and AI
- Only applicants who currently reside in Australia are eligible to apply
